Everyone on an event has one role: Admin, scorekeeper or participant. The person who creates the event is its Admin, and an Admin can make others Admins or scorekeepers from the Players list.
What each role can do
- Participant: see the event, its schedule, scores, standings and chat.
- Scorekeeper: all of that, and enter scores.
- Admin: all of that, and edit the event, manage the schedule and the players, and delete it.
Granting a role
- In the Players list, an Admin chooses Make scorekeeper or Grant admin on a person, and confirms. Remove it the same way.
- The event creator is always an Admin and cannot be removed.
- An event needs at least one Admin.
- An Admin who is also playing and leaves the event gives up their seat, not the Admin role.
Team captain is not a role
- On a team event, the captain is the player named on the team. The captain makes the pairing choice for their team and the dreambreaker call on their match, and nothing else changes.
