Entry fee refunds
A wallet payment comes back in full as wallet credit, a card payment comes back to the card minus Stripe's fee, and both stop once the event is settled.

An entry fee can be refunded until the event is settled. The organizer refunds it from the event's Accounting page, and how it comes back depends on how you paid.
Paid from your wallet
- The full amount comes back as wallet credit, straight away.
- Tax you paid comes back with it.
- Your wallet keeps both lines, the payment and the refund.
Paid by card
- The refund goes to the card, minus Stripe's processing fee. Stripe keeps its fee on a refund, so Picklemix cannot return it.
- Stripe typically takes 5 to 10 days to put it on the card.
- For a few minutes after a payment, Stripe has not yet reported its fee. The refund waits until it has.
Paid in person
- Cash and other in-person payments are settled with the organizer directly. Picklemix does not refund them.
When refunds stop
- Finalizing an event pays the entry fees out to the organizer. After that there is nothing in Picklemix to refund.
- The organizer can finalize as soon as the event is complete. If they don't, Picklemix finalizes it 5 days after completion.
Asking for one
- Leaving an event does not refund the fee by itself. Ask the organizer. The Refund button is on their Accounting page, beside your payment.
- After a refund you show as Unpaid on the event again.
