Entering scores
Score games on the schedule table, on Classic Scoring, or on Fast Scoring. Scores save as you leave each box and lock when the event is finalized.

An Admin or a scorekeeper can enter scores on the website from three pages: Games, Classic Scoring and Fast Scoring. Each page opens with the cursor in the first empty score box and saves a score when you leave the box.
The three pages
- Games: the event's schedule table, with Team 1 and Team 2 score boxes inline on each row. When all games are scored, the standings table and Share Results appear at the top of the page.
- Classic Scoring: one card per game at
/event/enter-scores, grouped by round and court, or by match for best-of series and team matches. - Fast Scoring: the same game cards at
/event/enter-scores-fast, saving each box directly without reloading the page and updating the scored count at the bottom. - The bottom of each page links to the other two scoring views, View Results, and View Event.
What saving a score does
- Each box takes a whole number from 0 up with no upper cap, so win-by-2 games can go past 21.
- When both Team 1 and Team 2 have a score on a game, a rated event updates ArpadZsum ratings for the players on that game.
- On a Round Robin + Playoff event, saving the last round-robin score generates the playoff bracket and adds Enter Playoff Scores to the page.
- On a Ladder League round, Next Group steps straight to the next group's score page.
- When the last game of the event is scored, the event is marked complete and results notifications go out.
When scores lock
- Before play is finalized, an Admin or scorekeeper can edit or clear a score. Clearing a score on a completed event reopens the event.
- Scores lock when an Admin runs Finalize Event, or automatically 5 days after the event completes.
Next step
