Archiving an event
A completed event is never deleted. Thirty days after it completes, an Admin can archive it, and it moves to Archived with everything kept.

A completed event is never deleted. It can be archived, and the archive keeps everything: players, games, scores, standings and the rating changes it caused.
When
- Archive appears for an Admin 30 days after the event completes.
- Before that, and for an event still in play, there is no Archive.
- An event with no scores at all can be deleted instead. One with any score cannot.
What archiving does
- The event leaves your event list. Archive Event asks you to confirm, and says it cannot be undone from there.
- Ratings are not reversed. What the event did to a rating stays done.
- The event is listed under Archived, with its name, type, date, when it was archived and by whom, and View opens it.
Next step
Archived is in the Event panel. Your profile's View Archived Events goes there too.
