A Drill event is one of eight drill types, chosen as the Drill Type when you create it. Seven put two players on a court for a scored game. Group Drill takes any number of players and gives each one a score of their own.

Two-player drills

  • Toes drill, Skinny singles drill, Groundstroke drill, Crosscourt dink drill and Figure 8 dink drill are scored as a game between the two players.

  • The 7-11 transition drill and the Bloody Nose transition drill score two sides, Kitchen Line and Baseline. Kitchen Line wins by reaching 11. Baseline wins by reaching 7.

Group Drill

  • Any number of players, each with one score.

  • Players can be added after the session has started and get a score of their own.

  • Results rank players by that score.

Modifiers

  • A modifier is a constraint with a points value, such as Backhand only. The organizer creates their own from the Modifiers button on the Drills list.

  • Modifiers are switched on for the event, then applied per player. The points can be overridden for a player.

  • A player's adjustment is the modifier's points multiplied by the games they played. Results show it as Mod Adj beside Points.

What a player sees

  • The event hub has Players, Modifiers, Games, Chat and Pay cards.

  • Scores are entered on the Games page by the organizer or a scorekeeper.

  • Results rank by Win %, then Pt Diff, with the modifier adjustment included.

  • Drill games are unrated.

The numbers

  • Two players for a two-player drill. Any number for Group Drill.

  • An entry fee, if you set one, works as for any event.
