Court Fun - Picklemix Roles

Court Fun has four roles: Owner, Manager, Staff and Member. Here is what each one can do.

Roles

• Owner — created the club. Full control: settings, pricing, billing, courts, and members.

• Manager — full management: club settings, court pricing, billing, courts, and members.

• Staff — day-to-day operations: manage courts and hours, and the member roster.

• Member — book courts and play. No management access.

Who can do what

Dues and court fees

Monthly dues are charged to Staff and Members. Owners and Managers are not billed dues.

Court booking fees and collected dues are credited to the Owner's balance. A Manager can set pricing and work the billing screens, but the money lands with the Owner.

Assigning roles

When you add or invite people, you can only grant roles up to your own level:

• Staff can add members and other staff.

• Managers can add up to managers.

• Owners can grant any role, including another owner.

There are three ways people arrive, and they don't all offer the same roles:

• Add member — for someone who already has a Picklemix account. This is the only route that can grant the Owner role, and only an Owner can do it.

• Invite by email — for someone new. You can grant up to your own level here, but never Owner, whoever you are.

• Join code — anyone who enters your club's code joins as a Member. You can't pick a role for this route; promote them afterwards if they need more.
